Current Openings
Goldsmith
Our Manufacturing Studio, based in Vancouver, Canada, provides support to our stores to allow them to deliver the Spence Experience to each customer. We have an immediate opening for an experienced goldsmith with the ability and skills to make a variety of different jewelry types in platinum, gold and white gold metals according to the Spence Diamond aesthetic and quality standards.
What we are looking for:
Experience in offering a complete jewelry service including:
• Professional re- sizing of rings up or down
• Repairs and adjustments to jewelry mountings to position jewels
• Inspect for damage, loose stones, and when needed suggest repair options.
• Karat gold and platinum soldering
• Re-tipping claws and claw replacement
• Ring shank replacement.
• Work on rubber molds, jewelry restoration of old pieces.
• Check assembled and finished products as per quality standard to insure conformance to specification.
• Applicants are required to have a minimum of 2 years experience.

Responsibilities:
• Track daily production, desire and ability to produce fine quality work to achieve excellent results. Any discrepancies are to be reported to the Studio Manager.
• Inspect mounts before and after repairing.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report any safety issues to the Studio Manager.

Diamond Setter

Spence Diamonds is North America's most unique chain of engagement ring stores. With over 3,000 different rings on display in each store, we offer customers virtually every engagement ring that has ever been designed. Few stores have even half our selection. None have our prices. Our secret is vertical integration. Every middleman has been removed.
Our Manufacturing Studio, based in Vancouver, Canada, provides support to our stores to allow them to deliver the Spence Experience to each customer. We are growing and have an immediate opening for a Diamond Setter experienced in all facets of diamond setting, including pave, channel, bezels, etc. An excellent compensation will be offered to the right candidate.

What we are looking for:
Experience in all facets of diamond setting, including pave, channel, bezels, etc.
Desire and ability to produce fine quality work to achieve excellent results,
Ability to plan ahead space requirements for work to be done,
Commitment to continual improvement and ability to provide recommendations,
Minimum 2 year experience.

Manufacturing Coordinator

Located in Vancouver, BC, our Spence Studio is seeking a valuable team member to fill the position of Manufacturing Coordinator. In this role the successful candidate will assist in production work flow, administrative tasks, and quality control and customer service. As an ideal candidate you would have a vibrant personality, exceptional communication and problem solving skills. You would be highly motivated self-starter, process oriented with attention to detail, and have the ability to manage and measure timelines. A working knowledge of jewellery assembly is an asset, however, if you are willing to learn we will train you in the art of jewellery production.
